WELCOME !

Welcome friends, old and new, known and unknown! It has been my desire to share with you how the Lord is working in my life as I serve the Lord on the mission field of Kabwe, Zambia. There is an old black and white movie called The African Queen. It is about a boat that travels down river. This blog is not about a boat. It is however, about my travels on the mission field of Kabwe, Zambia. By the way, did you know that my name means queen. For many years I have been burdened for souls in Africa. That is why some of my friends call me African Queen.

A Soothing Cup of Tea

After the funerals for our dear friends: Precious
and later the next week, Mrs Champo,
The ladies from our church were in great need of some encouragement.

Precious'funeral: her coffin coming through the doorway.

We had lost two woman who were godly and faithful.

In our ministries, we are praying for God to raise up ladies to fill the gap we now have.

We are also praying that the example they left behind, will be followed by others.

Their examples of loving God with all their hearts,
being faithful to all church services and activities,
loving their husbands and families,
encouraging other believers,
helping those who are in need,
and the list goes on,....

Yes, we needed a time of reflection, as well as, a boost in our spirits.

Because of this, it was perfect timing for a Ladies Tea and Fellowship.

Below are a few pictures of our time together in fellowship with each other
and fellowship through His Word.

Proverbs 15:13
"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance:
but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."
